How the Procedure is Performed

Two main approaches are used:

• Closed rhinoplasty: Incisions are placed inside the nostrils, leaving no external scars.
• Open rhinoplasty: A fine incision is made across the columella (the strip of skin between the nostrils), allowing for greater precision in reshaping complex structures.
