What is Cynosure Elite?

Cynosure Elite is an advanced medical laser system designed to provide safe, effective, and lasting hair removal for all skin types. Type of Anesthesia & Procedure Duration

No anesthesia is required for Cynosure Elite treatments. A built-in cooling system soothes the skin during each pulse, minimizing discomfort. Most patients describe the sensation as a quick, light snap against the skin.

• Treatment time: 15 minutes for small areas (such as the upper lip), up to 45–60 minutes for larger areas (like legs or back).
• Comfort level: Significantly more tolerable than waxing or epilation.

Procedure & Recovery

Each session begins with cleansing and preparing the treatment area. The handpiece is placed directly on the skin, delivering precise pulses of laser light. The device settings are tailored to each patient’s skin tone and hair depth for optimal results.

Recovery:

• Temporary redness or warmth, similar to a mild sunburn, may appear and usually fades within a few hours.

Treated hairs gradually shed over 1–2 weeks. With each successive session, fewer hairs regrow, and the remaining growth is finer and lighter.
